About the Company

The jeweller and artist Roman Tavast (1895-1942) established his enterprise VMT ROMAN TAVAST for manufacturing badges, medals and awards in 1923, which became the largest and most esteemed business of this kind in the pre-war Estonia. The factory designed and manufactured the majority of military, police, defence league, schools, and organisations emblematics and the Estonian State Orders.

These days, the company is still owned by the Tavast family. And the traditions are carried on, with the company being main manufacturer of organisation`s emblematics. Making both big state orders, and smaller quantaties for many Estonian and foreign companies and organisations.
